Parent and Team Communication via This Blog

To facilitate good communication between parents, coaches and players we have established this blog. This blog is currently open to all viewers. We would like to limit it to just the parents and members of the team so that we can post here a roster with parent names, email addresses and phone numbers.

To have access to this blog please send an email to Dave Johnson at djohnson@marshallschool.org in your email please include your name, contact phone number, email address and players name.

If you wish to be added as an author to this blog please request that. If you just want access to view the blog then simply ask for just access.

Note: Authors will need to set up a gmail account to be able to post to the blog. This is simple but does add an extra step.

April 1, 2008 Parent Meeting Notes

On Tuesday, April 1, 2008 at 6:10pm the parents and players of the Duluth Nighthawks Lacrosse team held a short meeting. Here are the notes of that meeting:

  1. Parents discussed providing a coaching stipend for Amanda. Parents decided that each family pay $100 towards a coaching stipend. Families with the means to pay more are encouraged to do so to offset any families that might not be able to contribute that amount. Please send checks to Dave Johnson, 602 Pecan Ave, Duluth, MN 55811. Checks may be made out to Dave Johnson or Amanda Powers. Please do this on or before Friday, April 4, 2008
  2. Ride Sharing Coordinators are Dan Little and Pam Anderson. Phone numbers and emails will be posted for Dan and Pam later. Call or email Dan and/or Pam to offer spots or to request a ride from a member of the team.
  3. Home field coordinators are Sarah Curwin and Tom Hodge. (Numbers and emails to be posted later) To help Sarah and Tom with home field set up please contact them directly. Sarah and Tom will work with Amanda to set up the home field.
  4. Mrs. Balduc volunteered to set up and run a concession stand at our home games with proceeds benefiting the team. Contact Mrs. Balduc if you wish to help.
  5. Team meal hosts were identified and have been posted on the team schedule.
  6. Options for team communication were discussed. A team roster and phone/email list will be posted here once all players and parents have signed up to be allowed access to this blog. See this post for details.
Meeting was concluded at 6:27 pm
